Blending convenience, cost-efficiency, and creative independence, our eDesign service offers a fully virtual collaboration - from initial consultation to concept development to the final presentation. As your own project manager you maintain full control over the implementation process, allowing you to bring your design vision to life on your own timeline.

​​​This service is especially well-suited for self-starters and those seeking a cost-effective way to elevate their space with professional guidance but without the need for full-service project management. It’s also ideal if you live outside our local service area (Loudoun, Fairfax, Clarke, and Prince William counties in northern Virginia). In every case, eDesign offers you the flexibility to implement a thoughtfully curated design at your own pace, with expert support every step of the way.​​​​
The eDesign Phases
​Choose Your Space​​
​
Begin by selecting the space, or spaces, you would like us to design. From there, choose the package option that best suits your needs: either our fixed-rate or flexible-rate offering.​​
Schedule a Consultation
​
Next, you'll set up your initial consultation so we can discuss your project. We'll cover each aspect of your project and determine how to best move forward.
​Complete a Brief Questionnaire​
​
Once you've scheduled your consultation, we'll email you a link to complete a brief online questionnaire. This helps better prepare us for our consultation - getting to know you, your style, and how you envision your new space(s). ​

Sign Agreement​
​
After your consultation, we'll email you an Agreement requesting your electronic signature. This Agreement outlines the full scope of your project, the estimated cost, and your retainer payment schedule. ​

Make First Retainer Payment​
Immediately upon signing your Letter of Agreement, you'll be emailed an invoice requesting that you make your first payment.
Review + Revisions
​​​Shortly after signing your Agreement and receiving your first payment, we get to work and you get your first peek at your design concept. We’ll send you the first drafts of your inspiration and design boards, giving you the opportunity to provide feedback. We’ll then move onto developing Construction Documents, to include a semi-realistic 3D model. Close collaboration during this phase allows us to remain fully attuned to your design concept, ensuring each decision reflects your goals with clarity and intention.​​

Shopping List Approval + Second Retainer Payment
​
Once all revisions are finalized, we’ll move into the final step of this phase - the curated shopping list. You’ll have the opportunity to review, modify, and approve the selection of items featured in your design concept. Your final list will be complete with vendor links so you can shop independently.
Additionally, you’ll receive detailed designer notes with step-by-step instructions to help you bring your vision to life. Whether you're implementing the design yourself or collaborating with contractors, these notes are crafted to make the process clear, seamless, and successful.

Presentation

Your completed Case for Design concept complete will be finalized and delivered it in a beautifully organized presentation straight to your inbox.

Design Implementation
​​
With everything in place, you are now ready to begin managing your project: Timelines are established, DIY projects get underway, contractors are brought on board, purchases are made, and deliveries are scheduled. It’s the moment when all the pieces come together and your space begins to transform.

Make Final Payment
​
You will receive an invoice requesting your final retainer payment, which officially wraps up your Project.​​​
