Reading Nook

Looking to create a quiet retreat just for herself, our client asked us to transform her dining room into a cozy, contemporary-styled reading nook. This eDesign project made the most of every inch of the existing space, with special attention given to the expansive picture windows—now framed with updated treatments and complemented by task lighting to enhance both function and mood.

We designed a custom bench and bookshelf to provide ample seating and storage, layering in whimsical touches through a new wallpapered tray ceiling and thoughtfully curated accessories mixing antiques and modern pieces. The result is a warm, inviting sanctuary that feels personal, stylish, and entirely hers.
