Modern Kitchen (3 of 3)

The third and final Project for our clients new home involved collaborating with their builder on a kitchen tailored to their exact needs.

This compact but high-perfomring space showcases timeless Carrara polished marble wall tile with a pot filler against a refined Black Marquina marble and Rush River stone mosaic backsplash. Tall cabinetry with integrated lighting and glass fronts anchors the design, offering both beauty and practicality. To optimize functionality, we replaced the builder’s original plan for a small counter and base cabinets with floor-to-ceiling storage featuring slide-out pantry drawers and a built-in microwave/wall oven unit.

A generous kitchen island not originally included in the builders plan was added and features a breakfast bar and refrigerator-depth cabinet adding both beauty and utility. To accommodate the client’s special-order Wolf cooktop we extended the countertop for a seamless fit. The final design is elevated by brushed silver Williamsburg Collection hardware and elegant client-selected pendant lighting.  She also selected the soft slate blue and gray cabinetry colors with a distinctive finish that brings warmth, personality, and charm to the heart of the home.
