This project was conceived as an alternative to the Downeast I design—a more compact and narrow layout tailored to explore possibilities within a limited lot size. It includes provisions for a future garage addition and incorporates passive solar analysis to guide year-round expectations. This strategic planning informs site orientation and material selections, ensuring the design maximizes both functionality and harmony with the shoreline environment.
